Thanks for stopping by.
My name is Biplang and I am passionate about finding new ideas to conserve biodiversity. I am interested in studying plant-animal interactions, animal behaviour, invasive species and ecosystem dynamics.
My PhD research at the University of Canterbury focused on the behaviour of African pouched rats (Cricetomys sp. nov) in relation to their seed dispersal potential in a West African montane forest. Alongside previous research experiences, this has sharpened my skills in surveying wildlife and woody plants, in conducting data analyses using R and QGIS, as well as in science communication.
I am open to any biology-related or multi-disciplinary collaborative opportunities. So, if you would like to know whether I am a good fit for your mission, please do get in touch.
